I am describing below different types of lehenga styles so that it can help you to find your best wedding lehenga style.
CIRCULAR/FLARED LEHENGA
This is one of the most traditional style lehengas which has a very broad flare at the bottom. And at the top it has lots of pleats and when it slowly goes down to the bottom then these pleats diffuses into one.
If you are interested in customizing your lehenga then always choose fabrics that can take a number of pleats and can easily be diffused into one.
Perfect For: Any Body Shape.
Special Feature: Adds Extreme volume below the waist.
Worst Choice For: Women with very slim waists (because it will look clumsy)
MERMAID/FISHTAIL LEHENGA
These lehengas are highly body fitted from waist to knees and have started flare from knees towards the toes which look like a fishtail.
Perfect For: Hourglass and Rectangle body shape
Special Feature: Accentuates the Hips
Worst Choice For: Apple Shape, Pear Shape, and Skinny Body Type
PANELLED LEHENGA
Thes type of lehenga consists horizontal panels of fabrics attached along the flare of the lehenga. Because of too many horizontal panels of fabrics, the volume of the flare is increased but this is always less the flare of “Full Flared Lehenga’s”.

STRAIGHT CUT LEHENGA
These type of lehenga has a straight skirt that flows along the body curves and doesn’t flare out like the usual lehengas. This one is the best option which can go with almost all the body types. Since this lehenga is extremely skin tight, one needs to be very careful with the right inners when going for this one.
