Hello girls, it’s a wedding season so you must be shopping a lot for your attires. And If I talk about wedding attires then many of the girls like pre-stitched attires and others like customized one. But If you fall into the second category and like the customizing your clothes because we all want to look beautiful and try to stay up to date with the latest fashions. Then I want to share some tips with you related to “fabrics” which you should keep in mind whenever you are customizing your attires.
Here I am sharing some tips on the fabrics so that you can flaunt this wedding season.
TYPES OF FABRICS !!
SILK
Silk is very much in trend in this wedding season. Remember 90’s when our moms used to flaunt in silk saree? Same fashion has repeated itself now. Silk fabric provides the royal look and it looks very classy. You can make a maxi a dress with this fabric or you can wear a silk saree.
CHIFFON
Chiffon never goes out of fashion and the word itself reminds us of sexy Bollywood heroines like Sridevi from “Chandni” or Kajol from “Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gam”. Just go for it ladies, as it makes you look slimmer other than any fabric.
SATIN
Satin is another version of silk, but it carries a lot of sensuality along with it. Yeah, it’s a great fabric for nighties but it will look you sexier in sarees and gowns. Just buy a plain satin saree with cut- sleeves blouse, and let your feminity do the rest (remember Madhuri Dixit’s yellow and green sarees from “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun”).
GEORGETTE
Yes, we all must be having this fabric in our wardrobe. Wearing saree with this fabric can make us look a little slimmer. sarees in this fabric are easy to maintain and wear too. So, girls what are you waiting for? Just go for it.
TISSUE
Sarees or gown with this fabric are little stiff but it gives you a very attractive look. This kind of fabric goes very well with bridal sarees, as they carry very much shine and luster with them. It is definitely a charmer in your wardrobe. A golden color with this fabric will be best.
BRASSO
This is another variant of tissue fabric. Sarees in this fabric are also in this season. This goes very well with a half and half pattern. Brasso saree also looks elegant in cut-work design along with its border. An all over Brasso saree can make you look a little bulkier, so avoid having it in your whole 6-yard saree. Go for a half and half one.
VELVET
Velvet also carries royality along with it as silk. but sarees in this fabric too looks good only if it’s a half and half type of saree. A saree with velvet pallu can add more charm to your outfit as any other fabric. go for dark shades of it. If you don’t want to buy a saree in velvet, then simply go for a contrasting velvet blouse.
